KN Golf Links Cam Ranh in Nha Trang is 18-hole, par-72 (7010 yards) designed by the legendary golf character Greg Norman. It comes into operation in 2018 as the new star on Vietnam golf map. Following Greg Norman’s design, this is the true links signature course, as a part of an 800-hectare mega project, with 5km of ocean frontage in the spectacular Cam Ranh Bay. The playing route covers the stunning coastal dunes, hazards, and ocean view that makes each round enjoyable and inspiring. Built on the summit of the rolling dunes, the Cam Ranh Golf Course offers approximately 50-meter elevation from the highest point to the lowest.
Resembling the links courses in Scotland, this course layout has no tree. Rather, it features the shrubbery and grass which offers some natural greenness to the whole area. In particular, the fairways own the carefully cut Zoysia turf, creating the fabulous contrast to the white-sand beach and blue transparent water. What’s more, it is Tiff-Eagle Bermuda turf that grasses the greens here.
The design boosts playability that provides necessary challenges of wind speed and direction for the golfers to perform the great putts.
